Broad guidelines for a greener event, especially in the conference and meetings industry, are that it should be organised electronically, minimise carbon emissions for travelling delegates and speakers, save energy, practice recycling, and adopt environmentally-thoughtful measures wherever practical and possible.
Online Registration
Online Delegate Management Systems provide a total paperless, planet friendly system. Delegates register online and receive all communication from the organising office electronically, including maps, directions and final joining instructions. Delegates unable to access a PC will be offered a fax back system or a registration using recycled paper.
